At Bel Air, we are proud to announce that we are passing the first 6000 safe flight hours with our AW189 helicopters after less than three years during our long range of offshore flights in the North Sea. This means that we remain AW189 Fleetleader worldwide.
We received our two AW189 helicopters from Leonardo in the autumn of 2014 and were among the first movers to take delivery of this new and superior type of helicopter.
After thorough tests and training in cooperation with the experts from Leonardo we celebrated our first flight in November 2014 and this week we could celebrate again – 6000 hours and Fleetleader worldwide was celebrated with cake and special T-shirts for the Bel Air Team and our customers and passengers.
