Bel Air Aviation is pleased to announce the resumption of regular helicopter flights from our home base at Esbjerg Airport. This follows the signing of a new contract to provide daily helicopter transport services to TotalEnergies’ offshore installations in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
TotalEnergies has expanded its helicopter flight operations to support increased activity related to the Tyra Redevelopment project, along with multiple ongoing initiatives across existing fields. This additional contract with Bel Air will deliver a more flexible and reliable transportation solution for offshore personnel traveling between the North Sea and Esbjerg. Such services are crucial to maintaining steady oil and gas production, thereby contributing to the security of energy supply for Denmark and Europe. Operations under this contract commenced on 1 April 2023.
“Our entire team at Esbjerg Airport has been ready and eager to resume flights from our Danish base,” says Susanne Hessellund, Managing Director of Bel Air Aviation. “We are truly grateful to have secured this opportunity. The strong and flexible collaboration with TotalEnergies over recent months has been instrumental in achieving this contract. Our team is committed to delivering the high level of flexibility and service that Bel Air is known for, and we look forward to supporting TotalEnergies with their many offshore flights.”
