AW189 and AW139 helicopter pilots to base in Denmark
Due to expansion of our operation especially out of Esbjerg, we are looking for experienced, motivated pilots, for whom safety is the number one priority. Your cooperative, flexible and positive attitude will ensure that you can adapt to changing deadlines and priorities with ease.
You will form part of a Bel Air multi-pilot crew, rostered on a day to day basis, flying our AW189 or AW139 helicopters mainly from our Esbjerg base in Denmark so it is an advantage if you live nearby and local pilots with type rating on either AW189 or AW139 are preferred.

Job description:
- Flying our AW189 or AW139 helicopters dual-pilot, day/night offshore under IFR and VFR conditions, all year round, mainly offshore in the North Sea to oil & gas installations, wind farms and vessels of various sizes.
- All flights are performed in accordance with the Bel Air Operations Manual. Responsibilities for duties concerning the flight, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific helicopter type, are contained in the Operations Manuals.
- The working routine is set in Company agreed roster patterns. Weekend and/or evening work will be required when needed.
- You will be required to locate yourself within 60 mins drive from your assigned base, during your on-roster periods, so local pilots or pilots willing to move to the Esbjerg area will be preferred.
- Secondary duties involved with flying operations may be assigned.
Qualifications Captain:
- Current EASA ATPL(H)
- AW189 and/or AW139 type rating
- 3000 hours total time
- 1500 hours pilot in command
- 1200 hours pilot in command multi engine helicopters
- Current Class 1 Medical
- One year North Sea operations, including one winter as First Officer (1 October – 31 March)
Qualifications First Officer:
- Current EASA CPL(H)(IR)
- AW189 and/or AW139 type rating
- 500 hours total time
- 100 hours Pilot in command
- 250 hours Multi-Engine
- Current Class 1 Medical
